Interactive Stuttering Series #2

I have answered this question a couple of times, so I want to know other people's experiences.

I will answer it anyway via this blog. :D

What situation and mood do you stutter your worst?
  • when I have to go to an authority figure (boss). Why? I don't know..itimidation
  • when I have to tell someone something they don't want to hear....fear and nervousness
  • when I have to think to tell someone something....mood..hell i dunno for that one
  • the phone with someone I don't know.....nervousness
  • with someone I don't know......nervousness again

What situation and mood do you stutter your best?

  • when I talk when I'm not thinking...i speak beautifully
  • when I'm mad

have you ever wondered why stutterers are scared more of the phone than anything? gimme your ideas why????

btw...who thinks that ordering a pizza via the internet or text message was the idea of a stutterer???? I DO!

  2. Hey,

Just wondering do you think nervousness causes stuttering. When I am talking, to a perosn just a regular situation I stutter, but it's because I am nervous. When I am mad, I stutter. I think for everyone it is different.

  3. I'm not saying being nervous causes everyone's stutter. everyone stutters differently and different situations. but most stutterers usually stutter when they are nervous. I don't know if there is a scientific reason why. I know when I get that feeling, I usually don't talk in general.
