Hey guys! Updating from my phone right now enjoying the 100 degree weather over here in Louisiana. Starting tomorrow, I will be posting stuttering series 3 to 4 more times this week. Since I skipped last week, I was badly sunburnt and just wasnt in the posting mood. YAY!! so look forward for some videos the rest of the week.

Stuttering Interactive Series #5

You thought you wouldn't see one this week huh? I guess since I'm being nice to my kids and taking them swimming, I'll be nice to you as well. `




What letters have changed in your stuttering pattern?
I used to stutter on t's and c's.

What situations has made your stuttering worse?
1. my parents divorce (i didn't realize it until a year or two after)
2. when my dad went in for his 2nd neck surgery (i couldn't say "hello")
3. I hate to even put this out here. I was supposed to work for a friend, and he noticed I stuttered, which I never stuttered around him before. and he let me go. my stuttering was the worst it has ever been at that time. I just moved to do this "job", and had no job. kinda sh*tty I know, but some people are just plain stupid. you know I'm glad it happened, b/c I wouldnt of found my next job and a few friends along the way. :D

What a morning

Wow! Let me say this morning was the morning of all mornings. First, the power goes out, and this is bad. let me say why....Webb (my husband) is a saltwater tank freak, so he has a fancy tank all set up. When the power goes out, all hell breaks loose. Let me say we had maybe 10 gallons of water goes all over our dining room carpet and all over our kitchen. What's the best is that our tank is now on the wall connected to another apartment. But we became lucky ducks and no water went into apartment next to us. so reaching him was a sight. I tried to get on another wireless network from a local shop or whatever to text him. No wireless networks in range. So I had to find a phone ASAP! I went to the neighbor's house and used her cell phone. we have one cellphone we share. so he comes home from work, to become my knight in shining armour and check on his baby (his tank). Well most of the water went into the kitchen, and with half of my towels in the washer. I was limited to towels. but I did have flash backs from Hurricane gustav. If you didn't follow me from the hurricane, I'll explain next.

If you didn't follow me with Hurricane Gustav, it was a hurricane that hit Louisiana on September 1. Your asking why do I know the exact date..I was 38 weeks pregnant! So we were hoping I wouldn't go into labor with the pressure dropping so much. Well, I had JJ a week later. Well we were out of power for a week over here. No money b/c my husband just got laid off..(seriously), no radio, very little food, and a POS car. It was the hardest week of my adult life so far, but it was the best also. We got to spend time with Mason before JJ was born. I was miserable, we were miserable, but she didn't know what was going on. So the hurricane was a blessing in disguise. Then my brother in law hired my husband until he found a job and my father in law gave us his car for 150/month. So we had very little income coming in, but it was something. Don't ask why I'm putting this out here. so now we are ok financially, so i can say we are blessed.

so all is right in the world, so we think. but waking up to no power and a tank leak (again), can drive a person out of her mind.

New Channel

Hey guys! I made a new channel just for makeup and hauls only. Since I'm probably boring the guys to tears with my makeup and Lush talk, I decided to make a channel for that. but...the blog will be the same instead. so if they look at the blog, they can always check out the other entries and so on.

I have plenty of videos that i saved from the stuttering channel, that I will put on there. I also made 2 new videos also. so check back during the week. I will be a posting fool!

I will delete danistuttermomcooks. no use for it, and don't have the time to cook b4 hubby gets home. so no videos = no happy viewers..means time to delete channel.

Interactive Stuttering Series #4

Hi guys! I did this video last week, was going to upload it this weekend, but things got hectic. I also was out in the middle of the sticks of Louisiana and had wireless for like a whole 30 minutes. WOOHOO!

So here is the questions...

1. What letters do you stutter on? If you haven't noticed in the videos, it's S, M, N, L, and those darn freaking F's are killer!
2. What words can you not get out? mostly words that start with an S and F. and if someone asks Mason's name..I'll say UM Mason..so everyone swears my child's name is PaMason. ah well...
3. What kind of reaction do people give you when they realize you stutter?
Sometimes I get understanding, sometimes I get shock, and sometimes I get laughter. When I get laughter, I realize Karma sucks, and they need to also. I don't get laughter too often, but you have those people who think it's funny.

I realize I make videos and get some views. I know I don't have over 300 subscribers, and many people don't comment. But lord knows how many times I get picked on a day without me knowing. I'd rather not know, and be left in the dark. but you know what, I'm doing this for myself and all stutterers out there.

I'll write another blog about my crazy ol weekend. :D and post videos sometime this week whenever I do videos.

This week! no videos.....

This week is what we call "hell week" at my house. Why must I say that right? wedding...and

Well tomorrow, we are having the carpets cleaned, so I'm getting caught up on like 100000 loads of laundry, and picking up things on the carpet. You may ask why am I getting the carpets cleaned this week of all weeks? Well, my husband and his awesome plumbing job and a little black kitty cat is all I can say. we had a 30 gallon tank on the floor full of water (don't ask). I walked into Mason's room and I thought Hooch peed on my floor. well, til I looked up at the tank and it was empty!!!! so yea it's nice and hard from all the saltwater. So we are getting our carpets cleaned....

this week...i have to go get my haircut, get Mason's hair trimmed, pack for like 2 days..and be in my hometown by 2 on Friday to try on my dress for my cousin's wedding that will be Saturday. then be at the church for 4PM on Friday for rehearsal. YAY! and do loads of laundry, and organized, and still do my ebay and mark business.

JJ is teething, and is about to push up a toofer or two before the wedding comes. I promise plenty of pictures of the wedding and family. It will be fun, but hectic b/c of everything. Hooch is going spend the weekend at the kennel, so he may hate me by Monday. so on top of sinus trouble, and dealing with a teething baby, and a demanding 2 year, I'm ok. :D

at least I've kept my front room clean for the last 2 days...i need and deserve a freaking cookie.

Up The Wooden Hill Emotibomb - makes you so relaxed you want to go to sleep. my husband loves this

Extra Virgin Olive Oil Soap - got it today b/c I love the smell. it does not smell like EVOO (sorry for the Rachael Ray talk), but it has an herbal earthy smell.
Karma Soap Sample - like the smell, didn't like it when I first smelled it but it's growing on me
Porridge Soap - it lathers well, but gimme a week and my tone might change, but guess what the smell is amazing. it smells like sweet oatmeal
Hot Milk Bubble Bar - my husband used this today and it smells good.
pop In The Bath Bubble Bar - got this for Mason's easter basket, so I'll let you know what I think of this
Floating Island Bath Melt - used this. I wanted to get dreamtime, but I wanted to try this. You put in the bath and it melts, so I broke off a piece. made me really soft, and it smells really good.
Hybrid Solid Shampoo - your probably thinking solid shampoo? well it's a shampoo bar pretty much. you rub on it your hair until you get a little bit of lather and that's all you need. they last FOREVER. I like this bar, but too bad I can't use it for JJ.
The Olive Branch - this would be the 20 dollar bath mason had. she smelled like pine tree in a forest for like 2 days, and also she was softy mcsoftenson
Cupcake face mask - can only get that at the store...

Your probably thinking DAMN girl you bought a lot of stuff. MOST of this was free samples and things. but I did buy a lot of stuff in the past 2 weeks, but I want to give honest reviews. I'm about to go try Cupcake.

If I wrote a list of things I want to try, I'd be here for another 2 hours just typing...but I want to try more than anything in the massage bars and buttercreams. :D

Stuttering Series #3

What does your husband/wife/significant other/baby momma/daddy do to support your stuttering?





My husband makes me talk on the phone, because I'm not handicap he says. Even tho I hate the phone, he still makes me call. At first he was a little caught off guard, but he is used to it. He is pretty much supportive. He knows when I want him to finish my sentences, when I don't want him to. He knows when he can speak for me...when he can't. Some days I want him to speak for me, some days I don't. He understands that...and I think every stutterer has those days. I know I shouldn't but I do. so forgive me. :D

Who watched Tough Love???

ooo I watched today, and must say Taylor shocked me. She put her greediness aside (with a secret that came out last show), and had a good time. While Miss Airan (i can't spell so forgive me) was being slutty mcslutterson.

Yet with Taylor.....I guess more is yet to come!
Airan needs to let the trust wall come down. that's her issue. she's been hurt, built a wall, became a whore, and wants a respectable man to wooooo her. if you put your knockers out there and parade around there, no respectable guy will go for you without expecting something on the first date. She's a gorgeous woman and very smart. but with guys, she's as dumb as a rock. (who really thinks rocks are dumb...i don't..but you get my point)

The older woman (can't think of her name) that had the breakdown. I like her! When she went on the date with her guy...she was soo happy before..but after not so much.....but next week looks interesting.

I forgot the names mostly bc I do the reviews a few hours after. I blame that on being pregnant twice. one day I will get my names together.

I really love this show. The matchmaker looks almost like my cousin. You'll see pictures of my family when I do pictures of the wedding. :D

Well, that's all for now. We are about to watch Marley and Me after my husband takes care of his problem with his saltwater tank. He messed with it again and broke something. He always does. I guess that's an excuse just to mess with the damn thing. LOL

Mark Haul and Reviews again

I got my package yesterday, and did the video yesterday also. I got lots of things....
here are my reviews....also the reviews on the eyemarkers

• Eyemarkers - I got them in Java (dark brown) and Jet (black). I love them. They stay for a long time. I love them and for 5.50....why not? right?
• Cheekblossom - Its kinda like the smashbox mood gloss but we have the different ones, it's not for both. I love this b/c it makes me have a beautiful pink glow. this will also be different on everybody. so the swatch I made it saying what color pink it would be on me.
• Glossblossom - same as abo ve!!!!
• Lip Exotics - LOOOOVE these suckers! :D :D :D they are a lipgloss with more pigmentation than the Glow Baby Glow. They have that spearmint kick to it also. I got them in Pop, Rush, and Thrill. (swatches below) they do not come out that dark on your lips. perfect for summer!
• Costa Rica Gradual Tanner - I'm not reviewing the tanner YET, b/c I've only had it for one day, but the smell is heavenly. I'm picky about smells if you can't tell yet. But this one smells like what you think of summer should be in a bottle. I love it. I'm buying a bottle for myself.

What situation and mood do you stutter your worst?

• when I have to go to an authority figure (boss). Why? I don't know..itimidation
• when I have to tell someone something they don't want to hear....fear and nervousness
• when I have to think to tell someone something....mood..hell i dunno for that one
• the phone with someone I don't know.....nervousness
• with someone I don't know......nervousness again

What situation and mood do you stutter your best?

• when I talk when I'm not thinking...i speak beautifully
• when I'm mad

have you ever wondered why stutterers are scared more of the phone than anything? gimme your ideas why????

btw...who thinks that ordering a pizza via the internet or text message was the idea of a stutterer???? I DO!

My Guilty Pleasures in Life

HA! as my husband thinks I watch TV all day. LOL...yea he's nuts. But I do have my guilty pleasures of VH1 reality, and a few shows in general.

• Rock of Love Bus - ok, i'm sad to admit I watch this religiously and watched it for the last three seasons. It's funny, b/c somehow you can get the skankiest girls around and put them ALL on a reality show. My favorite has got to be this season, b/c you got a girl who is SOOOOO freaking proud of being the Penthouse Pet of the Year. one long word....EWWWWWWWWWWWWW! that's just not something to be proud of. I'm sorry. Playboy..YES..Penthouse NO! It's like the white trash version of Playhouse. Get this, the girl is NOT pretty either. I'm not gorgeous, I'll be the first to say it, but she ain't cute. I'm rooting for crap..forgot her name. the really cute one! The southern cute girl! yea her! but do I think she can handle his lifestyle..not so much. AND...I cringe everytime he kisses a girl. I mean he's been around the block or 5, so who knows where his mouth has been. Literally.

• Tough Love - the newest reality show from Vh1 so far. It's about a matchmaker giving tough love to women who is desperate for love. Pretty much saying what guys want to say to their face, but he does the job for you. They have this one girl named Taylor (forgive me if i'm wrong), who is that "over dressed man eater kinda girl...also a gold digger". Everyone in their life knows that girl, if you don't know that girl, your probably that girl. I didn't watch it this past week, so don't spoil the fun for me. I don't think she'll be on the show much longer.

• Jon and Kate Plus 8 - I'm addicted.....for a long time. Love them! Kate is kinda bitchy, but man who wouldn't be if you are taking care of 8 kids. C'mon. Jon has got to be the sweetest person in the world. Ok..if you look at them two..that's me and my husband. yes i'm the bitchy wife, and he's the laid back dad. the kids are soo damn cute, but I love my two kids I have and not ready for another one anytime soon. I'm kinda sad to see this show go to an end, but I think right now for them it is. I love watching the kids grow up, but their marriage comes first. The season finale put that all into perspective.

• Grey's Anatomy - I've been addicted since episode 1. Can I say something, I love this show. I put my kids schedule on Thursday for this show. How sad am I? I'm finally happy to say Meredith and Derek are finally engaged. I'm pissed about the whole Alex and (damn forgot her name) story with the cancer. the ONE time they give it a chance, something like this happens. give that couple a break!!!!
• Private Practice - LOVE LOVE LOVE! I love Addison. Need to watch the rest of the show from Thursday night hello..you have Taye Diggs in this show. OMG he's soo nice to look at.
• Sober House - yet it's over, but loved it!
• I can't get into Love for Ray J (ewww he peed on Kim K.....why would you want to date someone like that....not my cup of tea there), and I love Money (NO...but HELL NO), also American Idol and America's First Top Model (tyra annoys the #*(& out of me!)
• Anything on the Food Network - I can talk about every single chef..maybe I should do that one blog also. :D
• I had more, but they were all done before I wrote this blog. Tool Academy..HA!, Sober House

alright, I've pretty much talked your head off. Alright.......next blog will be about a video..I promise!

just a little update!

I don't know if anyone reads this just to read this. I hope ya'll do, and ya'll should. I will definately update this more often. :D

First of all, I want to apologize about not doing the weekly series video. I did it on Friday, and I lost it when I was trying to edit it!!!!! So I did it, but lost it. I will do one this week, well tomorrow actually. so look forward to it.

I want to say I have a new love. Lush cosmetics products. http://www.lush.com I found out we had one in the mall yesterday while Mason and I had our mommy-daughter day. Let me say, that was fun all together but yet frustrating. I have to find silver shoes for my cousin's wedding. Yet I haven't seen the dress, so I can't exactly buy the shoes yet. They had a pair of shoes I fell for, but guess what, they had a 3 inch heel. I never wear heels, so I would die standing during the wedding.

I am making a Mark order within the next week. I should be doing a video on that when the box comes in. I love doing those, it's fun. We have a bunch of cool new products coming out next month, but I'm only buying a few so show ya'll. and crap I need to update that website as well. I have too much on my plate I think.

I should do a guilty pleasure blog post now. like TV shows I'm afraid to admit I watch and do reviews on the show. just keep ya'll reading. yea good plan! yet forgot to set my DVR to a few of them.

You people should also follow me on twitter!!!!! I keep everyone updated on that. so if I can't make a video or if I made a post on here, you would be the 2nd person to know. the 1st person to know would be myself. ok that was stupid.......

Interactive Stuttering Series #1

You are probably watching the video right now, or just reading this.

So the question is....

Do you remember what age/grade you were in when you noticed that you stuttered or didn't talk like everyone else? Do you remember what situation it was?


My answer is...

I think every stutterer can answer this question. I was in 2nd grade (so maybe 7 years old). Remember in elementary school, where the teacher would have the students read a paragraph each of a story, or of a page. Well I was reading, and realized some of the other students was helping me. That's when I realized "hey, I don't talk like everyone else". But I never got picked on, well to my face at least. I had a lot of friends until I switched schools to a private school. I think that's when I started isolating myself and being shy. I wasn't shy until I was accepted as the normal rich kid private school student. It was never because of my stuttering. I don't kjnow what the other kids were doing behind my back, and guess what I don't care. :D

I think my stutter is now a blessing. I get to do youtube videos and let other stutterers realize they are not alone. I was alone for the longest time b/c I knew of no one that stuttered, until I met Mitch. and no he isn't my husband. He was my college professor that stuttered. I got the courage to make videos on YouTube, and to me that's the best decision I have made. Well, I would write more, but I have a screaming kid in my ear.

I want to hear other experiences and stories from my viewers. GIMME!!! :D

Interactive Video Intro

Hi everyone! I just thought of this idea, and I hope ya'll will too.

I will start a video series that I ask and answer a question, and you (the viewers) answer the question. You can answer the question via video response on youtube, comments via youtube or on this blog itself. I want to be more interactive with my viewers.

so to go with this video, you can post some questions that we can do this series with. No comments will be moderated, so if anyone decides to be mean (i will stand up for myself and the stuttering community)

I will post the video between Wednesday - Friday of each week. If I don't post it by Friday, it will be posted on Saturday. I will try my best to get this done each week.


I want to thank everyone who told me this was a good idea, and thank the viewers in advance for doing this.

• Luvstruck - a very pigmented bright pink. (a permanent color of Mark)
• Saucy - a dark deep purple with a little shimmer...would be a beautiful crease color
• Corset - (a permanent color of Mark) I love a sparkly black. so I can't wait to use this
• Rebel - perfect highlight color

I did lime lavender review in the blog before....

Slouchy Satchel - LOVE this. it's huge, perfect for a mommy if you don't want to use your diaper bag. If you carry a lot of crap, also perfect for you too. I can also carry my netbook in this purse.

Get Bright Hook up Highlighter - I'm a sucker for highlighters for some reason. I like this, b/c it gives you a natural shimmer w/o looking like you are wearing a highlighter. that kinda bugs me. sometimes it looks good, but not on a natural look. I love this. I would try the darker one for a contour, but it has shimmer. that's bad!!!

Good Riddance Concealer Hook-up - looove this product. it's more of a concealer than the regular one Mark already carries. this one is lighter than your skin tone, which it should be to cover up dark circles and redness. The regular one is my skintone itself. I like!!

On the Edge Hook up Liquid Eyeliner - I got cleo and lilith (which lilith we don't carry anymore, but it should be on the last chance anyday now). I'm not a liquid eyeliner fan, but I loooove this. The brush is tiny, so you can do tiny lines and do dramatic if you need to. Just push more and it will make the brush flat. It also stays on. I wore it on my hands for an entire day, even thru a few hand washes. good deal! (i can't wait til the waterproof liquid eyeliners and mascara). I will do a video on how to do liquid eyeliner.

I will try out the eyeliners I got today! I will write a review as soon as I do!

First Blog

Wow, it's my first blog for my YouTube since before Gustav. I had a journal on my website, but I just never remember to update that website, and it's too much work to begin with. With everything on plate lately, I think it would be easier to update just a plain journal than a whole webpage.

My stutter: it seems like it's getting better. I have my days where its worse than other days, but that's every stutterer. That's about it. nothing to bitch and complain about.

My kids: are well...

My next video should be done tomorrow. I'm getting a Mark package in tomorrow, and I bought a purse, some eyeliners I need, and an eyeshadow quad. Last week I got a package of some of the new hook ups coming up next month, the lime lavender lotion, and some stuff for customers.

My reviews on the lime lavender. When you smell it straight out of the bottle, you'll go WOW that's something. you'll think that not in a good way. But put it on your skin, and wear it around. it will grow on you. I'm picky about smells, and I looove this smell. It smells so clean and summery.

so I should have a video for tomorrow....if not, it will be up on Wednesday.
